The members of Statik Sky

Statik Sky took form in 1998 by Stefan Petrie. After a few years fiddling with synths and computers to create the sound that is Statik Sky, a mixture of dark industrial beats with techno and trance influences. He recorded his first demo in 2003 which found it’s way into the Dutch Underground Charts DJ-pool, which got a lot of comment that the sound sucked but that it did have a lot of potential. In 2005 later he released his second demo entitled Six Months of Pain, this one got a much better response and soon after that the first song was released on the summer darkness DJ -X-X-X- sampler called Torture & Sadism. The song was taken from the demo A Human Tapistry of Torture & Sadism recorded in 2006. In 2007 and 2008 he worked to improve the sound and there were a couple of releases on samplers, 'I Came to Bring You Pain' was released on Extreme Sundenfall vol. 4 and got the attention of many DJs worldwide and Statik Sky was invited to play in Luxembourg, Belgium and to do music for the fashion shows of fetish-fashion designer Brigitte More. By the end of 2008 the new material was finished and got the attention of Vendetta Music.

Since 2003 Statik Sky has been support for the following bands: Taktical Sekt, Xotox, Melotron, Grendel, Colony 5, Implant, tPROE, Heimataerde and others.
