Object is the solo dark elektro project of Andreas Malik. Heavily influenced by Skinny Puppy, Frontline Assembly and Mentallo & The Fixer, Andreas embarked on his musical career in late 1994. After three demo tapes and a highly-regarded CDr titled Self-Designed Eden, Object got signed to the now defunct German indie label Broken Seal, and released two critically-acclaimed albums Part Time Paranoia (2001) and The Reflecting Skin (2002).

In 2008, Object staged a remarkable comeback with The Ethane Asylum. The new album delivers over 75 minutes of authentic dark elektro pleasure and sets a new benchmark for intricate, complex and multi-layered programming. Gems such as the title track, Dreamer Without Dreams and Colliding thoughts will most definitely leave listeners speechless. The album concludes with a crafty remix of 'The Ethane Asylum' by dark elektro wizard, Brain Leisure. Released on Vendetta Music on February 15th, 2008.

Without my music I am almost nothing! Influenced by different kinds of movies, this sickening reality that's forming humanity into a blind, deaf and numb failure. Futhermore I am getting deep inspirations by some acts and artists in different kinds of music...Mike Patton, Meshuggah, Combichrist, Khoma, Dillinger Escape Plan, Morgul, Merzbow, Thorns, Chris Liebing...and a few more! The name [organic_cage] I have taken from the song "Concatenation" by Seshuggah. The lyrics of that song start with: "a stale organic cage...." That moment I was stunned by these words! And by the way, that song is so incredible and intense! My decision was made! Since the startup 2002, I am performing the idea behind the project on my own. The style is raging between electro-industrial, powernoise and experimental, often the most intensive and direct as possible. No borders! My idea of Organic Cage is a big, dark crowd...building one hell of a zombie-moshpit...head bangin, feet stompin and overdosed on energy!
